Hawks on the rise, call as the sun peeks through the mist Rabbits scurry home

The eyes focus sharp, wings about to pump fiercely ecstatic triumph - Liam |
| A Duck for a Lady We went a huntin' rabbits but there were none around We crissed and crossed back and forth and covered lots of ground Old man Jack has moved on out I muttered with a frown and Lady Harris she was miffed 'cause I had let her down Not one slip could I produce despite a valiant try So we headed back towards the truck and past a pond nearby Without my knowing exactly why Lady bolted off my fist And headed for that nearby pond which was shrouded in a mist Then from the water rose two ducks flying hard and fast Lady too was pumping hard while I stood there agast Across the pond then a upward swoop Lady in her zeal Quickened the pace, closed the gap and took her very first Teal Duck meat was my Lady's reward, for me there was much more Once again with happy heart I was living the Falconers lore. - Lord Wallace |

I'm a raptor, I seldom sleep, When I catch my prey, I sink my talons deep. They never suffer nor see another day, 'Cause I'm a raptor, I'm a bird of prey.
I sit and watch, I never sing, When I spot prey, I take to the wing, Makes no difference if it's cloudy and gray, Because I'm a raptor, I'm a bird of prey.
I stoop, I stare, I eat my share, Don't mess with me, don't you dare. Scurry up a jackrabbit, if you may, cause I'm a raptor, I'm a bird of prey.
I'm a raptor, I know I'm cool. I know what's up, cuz I ain't no fool. I cruise my turf every day My very presence making rabbits nerves fray.

There once was a vulture from
Perth Who's friends always gave him wide berth They said,of his breath He could gag us to death But as a scavenger,a million dollars he's worth!
From a high pitch or a towering tree I must satisfy my niche, and catch anything that may flee
